Hi, I’m Nickie Griffiths and I am on the ACDM Conference Committee. I have been to the conference several times (and even presented at one too!) and really enjoyed them. In a previous role I was the only Data Manager in the company and the conference was useful for me to network, learning about what is going on in the industry and finding out from other people how they were solving issues that I was also experiencing!
I joined the conference committee as I wanted to see what was involved in the background of organising the event and also to give something back to the industry. I am passionate about the ACDM annual conference and ensuring that its relevant and useful to those of us working in the field and so I thought I’d get involved to help shape our future conferences.
Being involved in the ACDM means I am up-to-date with what is happening in the world of Data Management and helps build my network of contacts which is a benefit to both myself and the company I currently work for (SQN Clinical, a specialist biometrics CRO).
